BECCA x Khloe Kardashian Bronze, Blush and Glow Palette

BECCAs newest collaboration is with Khloe Kardashian and her bestie Malika Haqq. Besides being best friends since birth, apparently, the duo like to share makeup. I think the idea of a Best Friends collection is adorable and quite sweet. And who better than glowmakers extraordinaire, BECCA to pull it off! The 7-pc. collection consists of two face palettes: one Made With Love Palette from Khloe and Malika and two lipsticks from each of them. In addition, there is a darling box of mini glow letters. I chose the Khloe Collection as it matches my skin tone best.

These Mini X, O and heart-shaped highlight Glow Letters $18 are baked in shimmering bronze and golden champagne for the face and eyes.

I love the two face palettes I already have from BECCA, the Chrissy Tiegen palette and the Be A Light Palette so I had high hopes for this one and I’m not disappointed. I had heard other reviewers say that the Khloe palette lacked pigmentation and I disagree. The shades are quite light but I prefer a more subtle look and they can easily be built up. Out of the three face palettes I mentioned, the Khloe palette works best with my fair to light skin tone.

Both the Khloe and the Malika Bronze, Blush and Glow Palettes $44 have a highlighter, bronzer and two shades of blush. The Made With Love by Khloe palette has Glow Up, a vanilla highlighter, Fierce, a peachy coral blush, Fabulosity, a pinky peach blush and Koko, a tan bronzer. The Malika Made With Love Palette features shades of deep tan, gold, peach and coral. I love the sound of the blushes but I know the highlighter and dbronzer will be too dark for my pale skin so I’m sticking with the Khloe line.

Glow Up, Fierce, Fabulosity and Koko

Everything in the palette is spot-on. The pretty champagne highlighter is subtle but can be built up to blinding if you wish. The blushes are shimmery but not glittery or over the top–they add a beautiful radiance to the skin. The bronzer is matte and doesn’t look muddy or orange.

The packaging is sleek and elegant if a bit bulky. The palette is housed in a square, gold compact with writing in white and adorned with a cute heart. It has a full-size mirror and both BECCA and the heart make another appearance.

On to the lippies! This is where I got a total surprise, beauties–in a good way! Both Khloe and Malika helped create two limited edition lipsticks. The result is Ultimate Lipstick Love, a satin, hyaluronic-acid infused lipstick. They are super creamy, moisturizing and long-wearing, I really like the formula. Khloe named her’s Hot Tamale, a spicy red with warm undertones and Cupids Kiss a rich, toasty neutral. Malika shades are Brave, a true red with cool undertones and Yours Truly a pinky neutral.

Cupids Kiss, Hot Tamale, Brave and Yours Truly

Again, I knew Malika’s shades wouldn’t suit me so I tried Hot Tamale and Cupids Kiss and love them both! Reds are very hard to pull off for me, so I typically go for something in the orange range or deep pink. Because of the warm undertones, Hot Tamale is perfect for me and I’m so excited!! I absolutely love wearing Hot Tamale and I don’t feel the least bit self-conscious like I usually do wearing red lipstick. Even my sister said she liked it and she never notices anything! Cupids Kiss is a lovely toasty nude shade that I can change a bit if I use a peach or pink liner underneath which I prefer to do. I didn’t, however, do that in these pictures so you could get a good idea of the true color.

In this look I’m wearing Glow Up highlighter, Fierce blush, Koko bronzer and Cupids Kiss lipstick.

Overall, I’m so thrilled with the BECCA x Khloe Made With Love Palette and the lipsticks were a nice surprise! I wish I had more makeup obsessed friends to gift it to!
