A Visit to the Make Up For Ever Boutique in NYC!!

Recently I had the chance to go to New York City for the first time. One of the highlights of my trip was seeing the Make Up For Ever Boutique. What a visual delight! If you’ve been reading Prime Beauty for any length of time, you know how much I love the Make Up For Ever brand. They are innovative, fun, colorful and can go from soft to rockin’ in a heartbeat.

Make Up For Ever does a lot of TV and theatre work. Brit showed me seven different kinds of fake blood (one can never have too many) and a jar of fake ‘skin.’ So interesting!

The newest addition to the aqua line, Aqua shadows. Click to read a review and see swatches of all 12 shades.

My new favorite lipstick–Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural. Click here to read my review!  There are so many WOW moments in the boutique!

My favorite piece in the boutique--a painting of MUFE Founder Dany Sans

A few block down the street are Make Up For Ever’s corporate offices. This is the picture that greets you as you exit the elevator. Impressive!

Upstairs from the offices is the makeup academy where fledging makeup artists learn their craft.

Last but definitley not least, is Brit, one of the wonderful PR girls at Make Up for Ever. Brit and Kim are not only collegues, but have become fast friends!

I hope you enjoyed our tour of the Make Up For Ever boutique in NYC and the corporate offices. The emphasis for the company this year will be to open more boutiques. For those of you in Dallas, a MUFE boutique is opening in June! Lucky Texans!!

Next time, a tour of the Kiehl’s Flagship store. It was originally opened in the 1850’s and there is an old and a new side plus some fascinating memorabilia!
