BoxyCharm continues to be my favorite beauty sub box, I’m always happy with it. Recently, there have been a few changes: it now costs $25/month instead of $21 but the value is now up to $200 as opposed to $100. You still get 5 beauty items plus a gift each month but now you can choose 1 item in your box every month. The selection still includes nail care, skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrance and more. The box ships to the US and Canada. Each box has a theme with a card detailing the items inside. You can cancel at any time.

December 2019 Boxycharm

The theme for December is Whimsy and I got 5 full-sized products I’m very happy with! Not so sure if all the items fit the theme, but one certainly does, let’s check them out!

Storybook Cosmetics

Storybook Cosmetics Fairy Tales-Little Red Riding Hood Palette $35. This darling mini-palette was created exclusively for BoxyCharm and is as charming on the outside as it is on the inside! I received Little Red Riding Hood which has 6 pigmented matte and metallic eyeshadows in a mini hardcover old fashioned storybook. Basket and Journey make great crease and transition shades, Bad Wolf is perfect for a smoky neutral eye and the red shades add interest.

The vintage storybook has gold foil details and a full mirror. I’d love to collect all of them!

Saturday Skin Glacier Water Cream
Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacier Water Cream

Saturday Skin Waterfall Glacier Water Cream $39. This anti-aging cream has a lovely bouncy, watery texture that immediately sinks into the skin. A blend of ferments, amino acids, and plant extracts helps to calm skin while providing moisture without being the least bit greasy!

Ciate Halo Blush
Ciate Blush

Ciate Marbled Light Illuminating Blush $28. I love everything I’ve tried from Ciate and this blush is no exception. The formula doesn’t use talc so it’s lightweight and doesn’t look heavy or cakey on the skin. A hybrid of blush and highlighter, one swirl delivers a pretty flush of color with an illuminating glow. There are 3 shades and I got Halo, a dusty pink that is perfect for cold winter days. The beautiful blush is packaged in Ciate’s delicate gold compact adorned with a bow and stars.

Serphine Botaqnicals Lip Exfoliator
Seraphine Botanicals Lip Exfoliator

Seraphine Botanicals Lip Exfoliator 24.  I’m loving this soothing and gentle lip scrub infused with radish and chamomile extracts. Golden sugar, avocado, apricot and jojoba oils keep lips soft and nourished. I use it every night before bed.

Brow Bar Brow Kit

Brow Bar Brow Makeover Kit $30. This handy kit contains two long-wearing brow shades, a brightening shade, a brow gel and a double-ended brush. Good brows are essential to a polished look and I’ve found brow powder looks more natural than any other type. This is a great kit, especially for travel!
