September BoxyCharm

BoxyCharm continues to be my favorite beauty sub box, I’m always happy with it. The September 2019 BoxyCharm exceeded expectations! It costs $21/month but the value is much, much higher. You get 5-6 beauty items each month that include nail care, skin care, makeup, haircare, fragrance and more with at least 4 of those items being full-sized. The box ships to the US and Canada. Each box has a theme with a card detailing the items inside. You can cancel at any time, but I doubt you’ll want to!

September’s theme is BoxyCharm All Access #BOXYALLACCESS. Let’s take a look!

Violet Voss Essentials Eyeshadow Palette

Violet Voss Essentials Eyeshadow Palette $29. I’m so excited to get this particular palette as I haven’t tried anything from Violet Voss. The 10 pan palette has an equal number of matte and metallic shades in both neutral and vibrant shades. There are warm and cool shades making it versatile.

Terra Cotta in crease, Gold on lid, Cinnamon in outer corner and under lower lash line. Cream to highlight.

Dr. Brant Hydro Biotic Recovery Sleeping Mask $52. This sleeping mask from Dr. Brandt (a brand I really like) provides moisture while soothing redness and irritation. I like the lightweight texture and it really calms down my skin when I’ve gotten too aggressive with scrubs and retinol. It also has a very light scent.

Moda 5 pc. Brush Set $27.95. This 5-pc. set of eye brushes contains a shader, crease, detail, smudge, and a liner. Everything you need for a polished eye! I seem to go through eye brushes the quickest so I’m always up for a new set. What I like about these is the textured handles, they are slip-proof!

MAC Frost Lipstick CB 96 $18.50. One of MAC’s older shades, a pinky-orange frost. Though the shade came out long ago, the metallic look is very on-trend now. I love me a pinky-orange so I’m happy with it.

Laura Geller Baked Gellato Swirl Illuminator $26. This highlighter is so pretty. It’s a powder product but is so silky it feels like a cream. Perfect for fair skin, this peach shade has a pink undertone, rendering it more cool-toned. I like to use it as an eyeshadow too.

Bottom Line: the September BoxyCharm is one of my favorites this year! I feel like it was curated especially for me because of the lipstick shade and the Violet Voss palette. A+! PLUS, this months box is worth $154 and I paid $21!!
