Crock Pot Swedish Meatballs!

Pictures from The Country Cook.

So last week I did a fun post taken from my friend Jen of My Beauty Bunny on “What I’m Loving Right Now.” In that post there was a prompt of “What I’m Cooking” and I said I made Swedish Meatballs in the crock pot. So, so many emailed to ask me for the recipe so here goes!

The recipe is from the blog The Country Cook and one of the most popular on the site.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 (14 oz) can beef broth, low sodium

1 packet dry onion soup mix

2 tbls. A1 steak sauce (optional. I say this b/c I don’t care for steak sauce).

1 2lb. bag frozen meatballs

1 cup sour cream

1 16 oz. package egg noodles

In a 5-6 quart slow cooker, mix undiluted soup with beef broth, onion soup mix and steak sauce. Stir well.

Add in meatballs and cook on high 3-5 hours or low 5-6 hours. When meatballs are ready, stir in sour cream.

At this time, put a pot of water on the oven to boil for your egg noodles (make according to package directions.) Drain noodles well when done.

Serve meatballs on top of noodles. I added a salad and french almond green beans for a complete meal.
