When my daughter was in grade school, every year on Arbor Day (April 20) each child was given a pine tree sapling to plant. As a Camp Fire Girl leader, I too gave each girl a sapling and we planted them in a local park.

This year, for Earth Day, April 22nd, eco-friendly brand Lavanila Lavanila Laboratories wants your help to plant a forest! During the month of April, for each new “Like”received on Lavanila Laboratories’ Facebook page, one tree will be planted through Lavanila’s long-time partnership with The Nature Conservancy’s Plant A Billion Trees program. In addition, Lavanila will continue their initiative of planting one tree for each purchase made on

When Lavanila reaches 4,000 Facebook fans, everyone will receive 30% off their purchase at!  Below is the link to Lavanila’s Facebook page, so please, spread the word and help Lavanila reach their goal and build a forest.
