Frugal Friday – Hard Candy Piece of Paypaya

This week I’m excited to bring you a guest post from my friend, the lovely Polarbelle.  She started out as an artist and  eventually her love of color turned to painting faces and nails with the appreciation of color in fashion.

It’s a great pleasure to be here as a guest blogger for Prime Beauty and contribute to the Frugal Friday series.

Today’s value product is one of the new nail polishes from Hard Candy.  They recently brought 36 new revamped nail polishes to Wal Mart in 5 different finishes.  Piece of Papaya, (632), is part of the Crushed Chromes section, which are “luxurious and timeless hues embellished with a textured finish”.  The gold in this polish gives it a duochrome finish.   The areas where the light shines directly on the polish look golden orange.  Where the nails aren’t in direct light, the polish is predominantly pink.

I was fortunate to be able to take swatch pictures in the sunlight so that you could see all the color variations in this nail polish.

I wore this polish for four days with no chipping before, by virtue of blogging necessity, I added one of the Hard Candy glitter nail polishes over it.  Piece Of Papaya was very smooth and I really enjoy the color variations.

The Hard Candy nail polishes retail at Wal Mart for around $4 for a 7.8 ml bottle. The price at my Wal Mart was $4.29 each. You can view all the new colors on Hard You can also follow them on their Facebook page, Twitter and Pinterest.

My thanks to Cindy for graciously providing this space to me so that I could show you the lovely Hard Candy Piece of Papaya. You’ll be able to find out what Hard Candy nail polish I put on top of this one very soon on my blog Polarbelle. It’s been my pleasure to guest blog for you today.
