One of my favorite ways to pamper my skin is by using a facial mask. I get a thrill out of knowing my face is being revitalized, recharged, exfoliated, and infused with nourishment. And thanks to Inlight, I can now indulge in the chocolatey, citrus goodness of their Chocolate Face Mask, $65.

Since this is the first time I’ve tried anything from the all-organic, cruelty-free Inlight, I wanted to know more about them.  I discovered that this award-winning brand originally got its start in Europe before being imported into the U.S.

Inlight products are powered by plants and their BIO-LIPOPHILIC MATRIX. This matrix, developed skin expert Dr. Mariano Speizia, contains a blend of herbal oils designed to provide the ultimate nourishment to your skin. This means every Inlight products contains only the best organic ingredients. They are also free of parabens, petrochemicals, phthalates, alcohol, water and artificial ingredients.

Inlight Chocolate Mask Product Shot

As a lover of chocolate, I could not wait to put the cocoa, argan oil, rose, and baobab infused mask all over my face. Before I applied the Chocolate Face Mask to my skin, I took some time to admire the midnight blue glass packaging and accompanying spatula.  Both the packaging and spatula are eco-friendly and help protect the integrity of the product.

The packaging isn’t the only thing about the mask that is planet friendly. The ingredient list is also pretty amazing and packed full of good for your skin benefits.

The Chocolate Face Mask is designed to:

  • Provide gentle exfoliation
  • Decongest and nourish skin
  • Leave skin feeling clean and soft
  • Improve elasticity and skin condition
  • Calm skin and soothe inflammation

Chocolate Face Mask Performance

 Inlight Chocolate Facial Mask Swatch

When I read the ingredient list I was nervous about using a product with argan oil. I’ve had some reactions to argan oil before, but not this time. While I did have some slight tingling/stinging upon first use, this sensation didn’t occur again. My skin is very sensitive and this does occasionally happen when I initially use a new product.

In fact, each time I use the Chocolate Face Mask my skin drinks up every single 100% organic ingredient. When I rinse off the mask, my skin looks and feels amazing. My dry skin patches seem to melt away and my dull skin looks brighter. I love running my hands over my face because it feels so soft and nourished. My only complaint with the mask is I wish the scent was more chocolatey and less like orange/chocolate. This is merely a personal preference.

Overall: While the $65 price point is high, the Inlight Chocolate Face Mask is worth the investment. Made in small batches, the mask is formulated with 100% organic ingredients, and is veggie friendly and cruelty-free. If you’re looking to indulge, nourish, calm, and brighten your skin, I highly recommend checking out this amazing face mask.
