Introducing Karmela Cosmetics. This NEW brand is taking the beauty industry by storm in its effort to unite women through the power of color! Karmela cosmetics not only empowers women by giving back but shows them to be good to their bodies by using all natural ingredients in their lipsticks $24.

“I love color because it calms, excites, elevates, and influences. It affects how others see us and how we see ourselves. It revitalizes, energizes, and expresses our passion,” Karmela Cosmetics CEO and Founder Nechami Tenenbaum says. “Harnessing the power of color can change your life.
“By purchasing Karmela lipsticks, you’re not only investing in yourself, but you’re also investing in women,” Tenenbaum says.

It also means empowering other women to feel a positive energy. Aside from offering four different collections of vibrant, long-lasting pigments. The company is showing off its true colors by donating 10 percent of its net profits to charities supporting women. Each collection is dedicated to a different organization.

Pink Collectionrose, coral, magenta and blush pigments inspire love, femininity and playfulness. Supporting Charity: National Breast Cancer Foundation Inc. – provides early detection, education and support services to those affected by breast cancer.

Red Collection – classic ruby, strawberry and deep red orange pigments inspire excitement, energy and confidence. Supporting Charity: National Eating Disorders Association – the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals & families affected by eating disorders.

Nude Collection – peach, creamy beige and mocha pigments inspire peace, serenity, calmness and hidden sensuality. Supporting Charity: The Rapunzel Project – creates awareness of the existence and efficacy of cold cap therapy (also called scalp cooling), a process which allows many patients to keep their hair during chemotherapy.

Purple Collection – berry, wine, violet, mauve and pastel purple pigments inspire ambition, power, strength, energy, independence and creativity. Supporting Charity: The Endometriosis Foundation of America – increases disease recognition, provides advocacy, facilitates expert surgical training and funds landmark endometriosis research.

These high pigment, silky matte lipsticks are non-drying and long-lasting.
They have a weightless finish, don’t emphasize my lip lines and are comfortable to wear. I was sent Vintage from the Nude Collection–it’s a pretty peachy nude and 10% of net profits from sales of Vintage are donated to The Rapunzel Project. I can’t wear a lot of nudes, they are usually too brown for my light complexion but Vintage has no brown undertones and it’s great for an everyday shade.

Next, I tried Retro, a vibrant rose pink from the Pink Collection. What I love about Karmela lipsticks is that they feel so creamy and smooth thanks to Lanolin Oil in the formula yet still have a matte appearance. 10% of net profits from sales of Retro are donated to The National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Ingredients include:

  • Infused with Vitamin E (antioxidant)
  • All natural plant waxes (carnauba & candellia) keep lipstick smooth & creamy
  • Paraffin wax prevents moisture evaporation & helps to keep lipstick on lips
  • Candellia wax protects against moisture loss
  • Lanolin Oil for healing

Just as impressive is what is NOT in the formula. Formulated without GMOs, Phthalates, Triclosan, Petrochemicals, Synthetic Fragrances, or Talc. The unique formula is great for all skin types & is completely Gluten Free & certified Cruelty Free by both PETA & The Leaping Bunny Program.

I have to talk about the luxe packaging. Each lipstick is housed in a sleek black metal square with a magnetic top so will never lose the cap. The cap has a lovely gold design on all four sides. The lipstick has a slight minty scent.

Bottom Line: If you’ve been searching for a creamy, non-drying long-lasting lipstick that gives back to charities you have found it! Highly recommended!
