Laura Mercier Cinema Noir Fall 2012 Makeup Collection

The upcoming Fall 2012 Cinema Noir Collection by Laura Mercier  is hitting counters this month.  Laura Mercier Cinema Noir Collection  was inspired by the movie genre Film Noir and the old Hollywood glamour of the 1940’s.  Think Ingrid Bergman, The collection emphasizes the contrast of black and white, dark and light featuring bold red lips and muted shades in smoky mixes of teals and chocolates for eyes.  Talia Shobrook, lead makeup artist for the Jenny Peckham show said that this makeup look “evokes the mystery of the (film noir) era, but translated it for the modern day woman.”

The Collection consists of:

Crème/Shimmer Lip Color ($24): Passion Fruit, Tea Rose, Raspberry Sorbet, and Fresh Brown

Limited Edition Nail Lacquer ($18):  Cocoa Suede, Organza and Nude Silk

Shimmerblock in Starlet Mosiac ($38)

Limited Edition Eye Colour Duet ($22): Suspense (cream/burgundy) and Mystere (grey/blue) Beauty Junkies Unite has swatches of Mystere.

Tightline Cake Liner ($22): Deep Teal (gorgeous) or Ground Espresso

New! Long Lash Mascara in Burgundy ($24)

  1. Looks like a nice collection. I’m waiting for my sister to go freelance for them and then I’ll go and get my makeup done and buy some goodies. LOL. Gotta support the family.
