Earlier in the week I wrote about my disappointment in the LORAC California Dreaming Palette. Well beauties, LORAC has redeemed themselves with this mini gem of a palette Dance ‘Til Dawn. I needed to get to $50 for free shipping on an Ulta order so I chose the Limited Edition Dance ‘Til Dawn palette, on sale for just $10!
The palette was launched as part of the Rose and Revelry Holiday 2016 collection but available online only with an original price tag of $19 at Ulta. If you order now and pick up a couple more Lorac products (for a total of $35), you’ll also get a free travel size bottle of Lorac’s Light Source Primer in Dawn. May I suggest the LORAC Alter Ego Lipsticks and Glosses? Love the creamy lipsticks and there are lots of wearable colors. The glosses are equally as nice.
This small slim palette contains six eyeshadows plus two blushes:
- Light Peach w/ Gold Shimmer Blush
- Light Peach Matte
- Shimmery Pale Gold
- Peachy Matte Tan
- Medium Pink Satin Blush
- Light Chocolate Matte
- Medium Metallic Chocolate Brown
- Metallic Violet
The blushes are To. Die. For. Especially the peachy one with gold shimmer. The pink is nice too, it has a lovely satin sheen. Both are beautiful on us light skinned ladies–don’t know if they would show up on darker skin. Aren’t they gorgeous?
The size of this palette makes it easy to throw in your purse for touch-ups or for travel. I love it includes both warm and cool tones. It has the neutrals I love AND the cooler tones I like to play with. Like the eyeshadows in the California Dreaming palette, these have a soft consistency. However, they do NOT kick up a lot of dust or produce fallout like California Dreaming. Because of the soft texture, you will need to use a soft brush and tap off the excess. These are pigmented and easy to blend without falling all over your face. Although the shades are not super unique, they are very wearable and perfect for light skinned ladies. The mattes are not chalky and the shimmers are not over the top. The colors are well coordinated for quick, no-brainer looks. A delightful little treasure!
The Cooler colors:
Bottom Line: The LORAC Dance ‘Til Dawn Eye and Cheek Palette is a bargain at only $10 and is a handy little gem to carry with you for soft, pretty spring looks! Available online at Ulta, if you need a few more dollars for free shipping like I did, grab it–it’s limited edition!
Now those are gorgeous swatches! I can’t believe you got that pretty palette for $10. Definite steal!!
I love it when I get a beauty deal, I feel like I won the lottery!
What a great find. It’s funny that your “I’d rather pay for product than shipping” item is the winner of the 2 palettes.
I know, crazy!
I love absolutely all of this, from the packaging to the gorgeous color shades. Since my skin is more olive, those are perfect tones for me!
Grab it while it’s still available!
Oh my goodness. These colours are super gorgeous. I dont wear too much make up but these are really gorgeous, would love to own this!
The lighter colors are perfect for a natural look!
Well, I resisted this at Christmas….but I had no idea it was so good, and now way I could have imagined how pretty these blushes are. I think you just sold a lot of Lorac palettes!
LOL! I do really love it!
YES to this palette! I love the colors, everything’s light and perfect for the warmer weather. Aside from that, you can choose to have a lighter eye make-up to compliment a bold matte lip!
Good point Mai! It was released for the Holidays, but I think it looks more spring.
The colors looks pretty! I do not own a LORAC brand of make up but I think I need to get one for myself! Thank you for your honest review.
This inexpensive palette would be a great way to try the brand!
I love these colors! I will need to check out LORAC.
I love the “cooler” colors!!! I want that purple color for myself lol – going to have to look into this!
$10! Wow. I have to try this palette.
I love the shimmery colors in this pallette!
I’m loving the shadows in this palette! The bronze is my favorite.
Nice shades. Unfortunately for me I don’t know how to put them properly on my face.
They did an awesome job- love that pink blush!
