Facial oils are the latest addition to my anti-aging arsenal, promising to hydrate, plump, and balance skin. Facial oils add much needed moisture to dry skin and research has proven that facial oils actually help reduce sebum levels in oily skin. Basically, facial oil are good for every skin type!

Makeup Wars is exploring facial oils this week with our bloggers talking their favorites. Read each blogger post at the end of this post!

Here are a few of my favs:

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate ($46) –  this is chocked full of the good-for-you stuff ingredients like Squalane, Omega-6 fatty acids, Evening Primrose Oil, and other essential oils including Lavender which is ideal for using this oil at bedtime. Midnight Recovery gives a boost of moisture to thirsty skin and works overnight to help your skin recover radiance while making skin feel smoother. Massage 2-3 drops on cleansed skin before bed indulge in a little bit of luxury before bedtime!

Vbeauté Soft Core™ Rejuvenating Glacial Oil ($50) – with key ingredients like Squalane, Avocado Seed Oil, Jojoba Seed Oil, Camellia Oil and Swiss Alpine Rose, Soft Core increases and retains moisture while plumping and smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. It also helps restores skins suppleness and elasticity and provides antioxidant protection. One drop for my face and one drop for my neck and décolleté morning and evening is all I need. It’s so lightweight I can even use it as a daytime moisturizer. My skin gets the hydration it needs with no breakouts and it feels soft and supple.

Tatcha One-Step Camellia Cleansing Oil ($48) – is a beautiful blend of Camellia and Rice Bran oils. A gentle, two-in-one makeup remover and cleanser that melts away even waterproof makeup, leaving behind purified, silky soft skin. For all skin types. Non-comedogenic. Non-irritating. Non-sensitizing. Dermatologist tested. If you can afford it, indulge in this luxurious oil!

Emtage Argan Oil Rosehip Oil Rollerball ($15) – this is a rich, nourishing, luxurious blend of Argan oil and Rose hip oil infused with Geranium essential oil. It provides instant hydration and age defying benefits to dehydrated, dry skin, wrinkles, fine lines and discoloration. The rollerball allows you to target problem areas with powerful antioxidants, vitamin E, C and essential fatty acids to restore skin’s radiance and youthful glow. I like using this under my eyes instead of a night eye cream. Emtage has budget-friendly solutions for skin, hair and nails at www.emtagebeauty.com
