BoxyCharm continues to be my favorite beauty sub box, it never fails to deliver. It costs $21/month but the value is much, much higher. You get 5-6 beauty items each month that include nail care, skin care, makeup, haircare, fragrance and more with at least 4 of those items being full-sized. The box ships to the US and Canada. Each box has a theme with a card detailing the items inside. You can cancel at any time, but I doubt you’ll want to!

This March theme is La Vie En Rose which literally translates to “life in pink.” However, the broader meaning is “life through rosy (pink) glasses.”

The best thing in the box (in my opinion) is the CoverFX Perfector Face Palette ($45). Wow! Color me impressed! This palette has 2 highlighters, a contour shade, a finishing powder, and a pretty blush all with a beautiful wavy embossed pattern. There are two colorways: light-medium and medium-deep. I received light-medium which is very complimentary to my fair skin.

All of the powders are very soft and smooth. It was a smart move to include both a warm and cool shade highlighter. The sunny blush is a shade I would have picked myself! The contour shade I will do double duty as a bronzer also. The finishing powder has the teensiest bit of sparkle that imparts a pretty glow. The brightener powder would be great for under eyes. I don’t use an undereye brightener because I feel it illuminates my bags. This will be a wonderful palette to travel with and it will be coming with me on my trip this month. I love that BoxyCharm includes some type of palette in almost all boxes and I’m VERY happy with this one!

The perfect accompaniment to the face palette is the Moda Brushes Powder and Soft Glow Kit ($29.99). This dynamic duo has elegant rose gold tapered handles and synthetic fibers. Both brushes have such super soft bristles I want to cuddle them. The powder brush is more densely packed and the ‘soft glow’ brush is looser making it ideal for

Continuing the rose gold theme, we have the Wander Beauty Lift Off Purifying and Brightening Peel Off Mask ($34). This limited edition rose gold (I die!) peel off mask contains a blend of acai, goji berry, blueberry, lychee, mangosteen

Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick ($20).

Appeal Cosmetics Liquid Eyeshadow ($21). Gimme some gold eyeshadow and I’m a happy camper; gimme a gold straight-up glitter eyeshadow and not so much. I really, really want to like this gorge eyeshadow that does NOT budge but it’s just too much shimmer for me. I will

I tried everything from this box on my face and used the brushes to apply. I really like the MODA brushes and they have earned a place in my daily routine. I used all the powders from the CoverFX palette. I applied the brightener to my brow bone, the Appeal eyeshadow on the lid, finishing powder in my T-zone, blush on apples of the cheeks and the contour as

Bottom Line: this months box is very nicely curated, I’m a HUGE rose gold lover so I’m thrilled with the theme. The value of this box is $149.99 which is an incredible value for a $21.00 box! The standout product for me is the CoverFX palette and I’m really digging the brushes too. I will use everything, just some not as much as others. Nothing will go in a giveaway pile this month–sorry ladies!
Peel off masks are always really rough on my skin too. This looks like a great box of items!
It was great, I’m really happy!
I love subscription boxes and this one looks great! It looks like it provides some pretty great products! Thanks for sharing.
I’ve been so impressed with BoxyCharm, you get SO much for $21!
The CoverFx palette alone is a winner for me. Good box
Me too!
That CoverFX Face Palette is stunning, and the brushes look beautiful too. I too would love the rose gold theme, but I couldn’t probably do the liquid glitter eyeshadow and the liquid metallic stain either. But all in all, a good box!
Agreed!
That Wander Mask looks like so much fun! That palette is gorgeous, and the look that you created is stunning!
Thanks, Lola!
I’ve been really busy and barely looked at the box but I remember the palette and was excited about it. I don’t think I received that liquid eyeshadow in my kit. I was quite happy with Boxycharm this month too.
I’d like to hear what you got Marcia.
Does it really sparkle all the way? well, that one is quite new to my eyes lol
Wow I love all of the shades of these products and I would definately wear them. You just reminded me I need to look for some good makup brushes. I might have to check out this subscription box.
It’s a great value, only $21 for 5-6 full size products!
I love this review! It looks like such a steal to get Boxycharm, all the products look like they’re such great quality. I’ve tried many beauty boxes in my time and have yet to find one that feels worth it.
I LOVE BoxyCharm, it’s the only sub box I haven’t canceled.
Wow 5-6 items every month. It is indeed a good offer. Unfortunately, I can’t try it out due to different location. But, I can suggest to my friends and families in Canada and US.
Box subscription is certainly a big trend nowadays. There are all sorts of box subs, and this one here looks great. Love those eye colour.
Wow! That’s an amazing selection of products. Everything looks so pretty.
I have never tried a beauty subscription box. It looks like they have a lot of products. Good deal!
