Noughty Haircare

Noughty was founded in 2016 by Rachel and Lorna who have been friends for over twenty years back when sun-in highlights, terrible perms and frizzy fringes were the hairstyles of dreams. Both went on to become beauty industry experts who have worked for some of the most-loved natural brands in the world and, armed with this passion and knowledge, they were inspired to create an accessible naturals brand centered around high performance. And so, Noughty was born.

Noughty makes a conscious choice to deliver a minimum of 97% natural ingredients to every Noughty bottle. Buying natural ingredients also enables the brand to do business with farmers in some of the poorest communities in the world, making a life-changing difference to the future outcomes of that community. Noughty products are vegan, cruelty-free, and leaping bunny certified. Free of sulfates, silicones, parabens, and petrochemicals.

There are several varieties for any of your hair woes.

  • Wave Hello for curl defining
  • To The Rescue for moisture
  • Care Taker for scalp smoothing
  • Pumped Up for volume
  • Blondie Locks for blondes
  • Tough Cookie for strengthening
  • Purple Reign for tone correcting
  • Frizz Magic for frizz control

In addition, there are hair masks, serums, and styling products.

Noughty Care Taker

I was sent the Care Taker Shampoo $9.99 and Conditioner. These are designed for those with dandruff or sensitive scalps. I don’t have dandruff but sometimes my scalp can get itchy. Made with bisabolol and oatmeal extract, with anti-irritant and scalp soothing properties, this leaves my scalp feeling super soothed.

Care Taker Conditioner $9.99 is one of the nicest I’ve ever used. Most conditioners weigh my hair down but this is so lightweight I can actually still style my hair and it will hold a curl! It also does a great job of detangling my fine hair. This conditioner has the same ingredients as the shampoo along with glycerine, olive oil, and coconut and shea butters for moisture.

My experience with Noughty products won’t end here. On my next trip to Target, I want to the volume line. There is also a body care line of products that includes body wash, moisturizers, serums, and scrubs I’m dying to try. With prices this good, I can afford to try them all!

Bottom Line: the Noughty line of haircare is fun, effective and affordable!
