A great concealer is essential in very woman’s makeup kit. It can cover dark circles, reduce redness, hide brown spots and diffuse lines and wrinkles. In other words, a magic eraser!

We all want a flawless complexion, but we don’t want to look like we’ve slapped a bunch of spackle on our faces. Most concealers are too thin and blend away or are too thick and look cakey. Luckily I found my magic eraser with the Osmosis Colour Age Defying Treatment Concealer ($38). It camouflages and corrects as it smooths fine lines and wrinkles with highly pigmented, buildable coverage.

This concealer contains a secret weapon in the form of a moisture balm. Full of Argan Oil, Apricot Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter and Vitamin E to nurture delicate areas, the moisture balm hydrates and plumps to soften wrinkles around the eye area, mouth and lips. The balm ensures a smooth canvas to apply makeup and helps it to not settle into fine lines and wrinkles. It also “erases” imperfections and fills in lines for a youthful appearance.  Just what every over 40 woman needs!

Osmosis Colour Age Defying Treatment Concealer comes in 4 shades: Fair, Light, Medium and Silk.

I have the shade light and it’s a great match for me. The rich pigments provide excellent coverage without looking or feeling thick.

How to use: swipe the moisture balm under the eye area and then pat a bit of the concealer with the soft sponge applicator and blend with fingers. I also use it around my nose and on my chin where I have some redness. The non-comedogenic formula doesn’t clog my pores or cause breakouts.

Tricks & Tips:

  • To make eye shadow applications last all day, use Age Defying Treatment Concealer as a primer for the eyelids.
  • High pigment content allows camouflaging of deep and dark discolorations.
  • Great to even out coloring if suffering from vitiligo and to conceal pigmentation if suffering from melasma.

Bottom Line: the  Osmosis Colour Age Defying Treatment Concealer is the best concealer I’ve tried. It covers beautifully without looking thick or emphasizing my lines. The moisture stick is genius! It is a little pricey but you use so little I’m sure this will last me at least 6 months.
