PaloVia Skin Renewing Laser: Review, Pics

I am thrilled that I am going to start testing the PaloVia® Skin Renewing Laser®.   The PaloVia® is the very first, FDA-cleared, at-home laser that is clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. And I really need the help. It seems I woke up one day and the crows had visited my eyes. Actually I first noticed fine lines popping up maybe 5 years ago and they’ve gotten deeper as the years have gone by.

Crow's feet w/full smile

I swore off smiling but it only lasted 2 hours. Hopefully after 6 weeks, my crow’s will have flown the coop!  I’ll be keeping you up-to-date on my progress weekly.

The PaloVia® Skin Renewing Laser® is first FDA-cleared, at-home laser clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.  Winner of the 2011 Allure Beauty Breakthrough Award, the PaloVia laser uses the same fractional laser technology used by dermatologists – but adapted and perfected for at-home use.

The PaloVia® works below the surface of the skin, where wrinkles form. Short pulses of micro-fine laser light reach deeply into the skin’s sub-layers, treating the aging support system. The body’s natural healing process takes over and old damaged skin tissue is rebuilt with fresh, new collagen and elastin, which together make skin smooth and youthful. I’m not hoping for a miracle but I would like to significantly reduce those peasky lines and wrinkles.

The PaloVia comes beautifully packaged in a study box suitable for storing the unit.

Stay tuned, next time I will let you now how my first experience with the PaloVia went.

The PaloVia® Skin Renewing Laser® retails for $499.00 at  Be sure to check them out on the PaloVia® Facebook page and follow them on Twitter too. There, you can check on the progress of various testers, along with some helpful usage tips.

Disclosure:  Palomar provided me a complimentary PaloVia laser and the company will provide transportation, lodging, food and photo shoot in Manhattan.

  1. Very excited about this! A number of home lasers have come on the market the past year or so and I have been wondering if they really work. It is quite an investment money wise, so I’m looking forward to your updates and experiences.

  2. I can’t wait to see what the results are for you! Very interested.

  3. You’re so brave! I would never lase myself – much too chicken!

  4. I think its cool to test out this device…but I think you’re being a little hard on yourself. I mean, I get bummed by some of the fine lines on my face but…I’m 38 and its normal.
That said, I’m just saying you look good. 🙂
