Paula’s Choice Perfect Cleansing Oil

2017 gave us tons of cleansing oils/balms. I’ve tried quite a few, but you’ll notice I haven’t done a lot of reviews for them. That’s because none of them impressed me like Paula’s Choice Perfect Cleansing Oil ($25). What’s so different about it? It’s infused with five plant oils specifically chosen for their ability to break down makeup and facial debris. Sunflower, coconut, meadowfoam, jojoba and grapeseed oils come together to simultaneously cleanse and replenish skin’s barrier. It’s extremely gentle but is merciless in taking off stubborn makeup including waterproof makeup.

Paula’s Choice Perfect Cleansing Oil is a delight to use. It’s lightweight, works incredibly fast, and gets every last speck of makeup and residue. With other cleansing oils, I have to use a micellar water to get the last lingering bits of makeup and then my isn’t hydrated by the oil anymore. I’ve never understood what the purpose of double cleansing is if you end up leaving your skin dry. This cleansing oil leaves my skin thoroughly clean, silky soft  AND hydrated! Now I don’t have to sacrifice hydrated skin for clean skin. It’s a win-win!

I use 1-2 pumps on dry skin and let that sit for a minute. I then add water and the cleanser forms a milky emulsion thata I massage into my face with a circular motion. Rinse well and say HELLO to über clean silky skin. I also use this to take off my eye makeup making it a multi-tasking wonder!

As with all Paula’s Choice products, the Perfect Cleansing Oil is fragrance and cruelty-free. Paula’s Choice is a favorite here at Prime Beauty headquarters for their effective and affordable skincare and if you are over 40 you NEED to try the brand. They also offer skin care consultations with experienced consultants who choose the right products for your type and issues over the phone: 800.831.4088.

Bottom Line: another winner from Paula’s Choice!

This is a must in winter! My skin gets so dry and itchy. I use a different brand of cleansing oil but I think Paula’s Choice is better because it has sunflower oil. I will have to get myself a bottle. Thanks for the review.
