Pixi Beauty has collaborations with several popular influencers including Chloe Morello, Maryam Maquillage, Rachh Loves and Head to Toe. This collection of collabs is called #PixiPretties.

Today we’re going to talk about the Eye Heart Double Tap $20 by Heart Defensor. The palette has 8 shades with super silky mineral shadows in light-reflective shades that make it easy to create stunning looks with a few sweeps.

Heart Defensor picked her most flattering ‘best-of’ shades to make you feel your most confident. The PIXI x Heart Defensor Eye Heart Palette in Double Tap includes 8 eyeshadow shades:
Feb. 4th – matte beige cream
Oh He Got Money – matte peach
The Best FAM- shimmery peachy gold
Philippines – stunning shimmery rose gold
Always Dancing – shimmery coral
Fur Babies – matte terracotta brown
Lip Sync – shimmery burgundy
Coffee – matte deep brown

These are all warm, sunset-type shades and they look great on all eye colors. With 4 mattes and 4 shimmers, these shades are so, so coordinated. The mattes are silky and not too powdery, while the shimmers are beautifully buttery.

This pretty little palette is quite a workhorse! I can see myself wearing it lots of different ways and reaching for it often. Lip Sync is probably my favorite shade which is incredible because I’m normally afraid of burgundy shades. The Best FAM and Phillippines are glowy gorgeousness. Fur Babies, and Oh He Got Money are ideal transition shades. Feb. 4th and Coffee are not unique shades, but they mix perfectly with the rest of the palette.

For this look, I put Fur Babies in the crease, Phillippines on the lid and Lip Sync on the outer corner. Feb. 4th on the brow bone and coffee used as liner on lower lashes.

The Pixi collab with Rachh Loves brings us The Layers Highlighting Palette$24. Rachh says “Layering highlight for that perfect custom glow is just like layering an outfit – you build a look that’s uniquely you! Bring out your natural beauty and enliven your complexion, lids and cheeks with this multi-use glow-mix palette.”

The Layers Highlighting Palette is meant to experiment with. The soft and silky formula also has mica in it for a lustrous glow. All the shades can be used wet or dry and on the face or eyes.

Zipper, Knit and Tee lend themselves to the eyes, while Tee, Lace and Clutch add radiance to the face, but you can mix and mingle everything. Zipper is a lovely pale violet that looks sensational paired with Knit, a taupe shade on the eyes. Knit and Tee are warm toned and Lace and Clutch are for cool skin.

If you have someone on your gift list that loves playing with highlights, this is a palette you’ll want to gift to them–IF you can give it up.
