RevAir Total Package

Achieving the perfect blowout usually requires a trip to the salon or a lot of time with a round brush and hot hairdryer. Both can be costly and time-consuming, and exhausting. But what if you could create straight, shiny hair, at home and in less time? With the RevAir Reverse-Air Dryer, you can accomplish just that.

The brand was kind enough to send the RevAir Total Package, $429, to test out on my hair. Today, I’m sharing my experience and telling you more about this unique hair tool system.

RevAir Reverse-Air Drying

The RevAir system makes drying and straightening your hair faster, easier and safer thanks to its reverse air technology. Instead of blowing heat on your hair, the RevAir Reverse-Air system uses reverse air suction to dry and straighten your hair. This also helps to improve shine and reduce frizz, and all without the need for a round brush.

No matter what your hair type, from curly to wavy, your hair will be blown out to perfection in a fraction of the time it usually takes. No more trips to the salon. No more round brush and hot forced air blowing on your hair and your head.

 Demoing the System

Instead, you divide your hair into sections and then insert each section into the wand. Then you gently move the wand up and down to ensure your hair is dry from root to tip. The RevAir Reverse-Air system also allows you to adjust speed and temperature, so you can achieve the perfect blowout for your hair type and texture.

If you order the Total Package, you will receive the Heat Producing Wand, Base Unit, Hose, Carry Bag, Elastic Hair Ties, Quick Start Guide, Operational Manual, Warranty Guard, and a free gift set. The set includes the Wand Holder, an additional Hair Tie, Cinch It Up Round Bag, Up & Atomizer Spray Bottle, Sectioning Clips, Hair Towel, and Accessory Bag.

Additionally, the RevAir comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. So if you aren’t happy with your system, you can return it for a full refund, including shipping. I always appreciate when companies offer this type of risk-free guarantee, especially when you are making a substantial purchase.

My Experience

After trying out the RevAir Reverse-Air Hair Dryer, I have mixed feelings. Did it do what it said it was going to do? Yes. It dried and straightened my hair faster and easier, without any damage to my hair. Was it easy to assemble and use? Definitely. The instructions were very easy to follow and there was little to no learning curve.

Reverse-Air Hair Dryer

The wand is a bit heavy and the hose and base are a tad bulky, but the whole system does fit comfortably under the sink or in a cabinet.

My main complaint with the reverse air technology is that it doesn’t provide my hair with any volume or opportunity to style while drying. Even when I do a “blow out”, I don’t like my hair bone straight and flat. I need volume and a bit of shape or wave. This is more of a personal preference than a flaw in the system.

Reverse Air Looks

RevAir did tell me there are some ways to achieve more volume, such as drying the roots straight up and finishing with a cold shot from the wand. But they also understand that their system isn’t right for everyone, and unfortunately, it isn’t right for me.

However, this doesn’t mean it won’t work for you, especially if you love the straight, sleek look. The RevAir Reverse-Air Dryer price point is high, but if you think about how much you spend on salon blowouts, the system will pay for itself over time. And with the 30-day money-back guarantee, you really don’t have anything to lose. You can also try before you buy by visiting a RevAir Demo Location.
