RoC Skincare Most Wrinkled States–How Does Yours Compare? Plus A Giveaway!

RoC® Skincare conducted their 3rd annual Wrinkle Rating by city. I’ve lived in several cities and states so it’s really interesting to see where they fall on the list.  I currently live about 5 hours from Seattle, #3 on the list and I spent 10 years in Phoenix, #6 on the list. I was in my 30’s when I lived in Phoenix and I know that contributed to the wrinkles and sun damage I have now.

The top ten cities/metro areas include:

1. Philadelphia, PA 6. Phoenix-Mesa-Scottsdale, AZ
2. Denver-Aurora, CO 7. Washington, DC-Arlington-Alexandria, VA
3. Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA 8. New York, NY
4. Chicago-Naperville-Arlington Heights, IL 9. Warren, MI
5. Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, MN-WI 10. Edison, NJ

  • Big City Blues: Large metropolitan areas such as Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and New York City will continue to round out the top 10 most wrinkle-prone metro areas due to their extreme urban environments, including more congested commuting and lower air quality.
  • Thank You for Not Smoking: Smoking rates are predicted to approach zero in 35 of the 50 cities ranked, which will decrease overall rates of premature fine lines and wrinkles. However, Nashville, St. Louis and Kansas City are expected to retain smoking rates significantly higher than the rest of the country – leaving residents of these cities more at risk.
  • Heat Makes Waves: Higher temperatures along with less precipitation will increase the risk of wrinkles in certain areas such as the Great Lakes and the Northeast. Meanwhile, Texan residents, beware of drier skin as cities such as Dallas, Houston and San Antonio will see the greatest decrease in average annual precipitation.

As a proud RoC ambassador, the brand sent me this gorgeous Sky Bracelet from Coordinates which has the exact global coordinates of where I currently live. It’s so pretty and classic! There are three metals to choose from for the Sky bracelet: gold, silver and rose gold. Coordinates has many designs available–any would make an unforgettable personalized gift.

Two warriors in my anti-aging arsenal are RoC Retinol Correxion® Deep Wrinkle Serum and RoC Retinol Correxion® Eye Cream. Retinol is the #1 dermatologist recommended cosmetic anti aging ingredient and RoC Skincare are the retinol experts.

RoC Retinol Correxion® Deep Wrinkle Serum complements your skin’s renewal process with pure RoC® Retinol, magnesium, zinc and copper to bring newer, younger-looking skin to the surface. It’s lightweight, absorbs easily and glides on leaving skin feeling soft and velvety. You can really depend on RoC. This serum is clinically proven to visibly reduce fine lines and deep wrinkles.

I’m ALWAYS on the hunt for a great eye cream to help eliminate the bags under my eyes and my crow’s feet. I keep coming back to RoC Retinol Correxion® Eye Cream because it addresses BOTH puffiness and crow’s feet.  It evens out the look of dark circles and helps to reduce the look of puffiness in four weeks, and it visibly reduces the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes and crow’s feet in 12 weeks. Stick with it and you will be rewarded!

I have one each of RoC Retinol Correxion® Deep Wrinkle Serum and RoC Retinol Correxion® Eye Cream to give away. Follow the tasks on the widget–there are two mandatory tasks to complete to enter. To gain additional entries, complete the optional entries. Good luck! #gotitfree
