STUDIOMAKEUP has a new line of products featuring hyaluronic acid–an older beauty’s best friend. The line consists of a serum, primer, and foundation all with hyaluronic acid in the formula. Just three steps to complexion perfection!

What is Hyaluronic Acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a humectant naturally found between skin cells that helps maintain hydration and plumpness, it works to replenish the skin’s moisture as well as plumps and smooths the appearance of fine lines.
As we age, our skin loses moisture and becomes less firm and supple. Without moisture, the skin loses elasticity and youth.

Hyaluronic Acid helps our skin attract and retain moisture, which can combat signs of aging. Topical Hyaluronic Acid serums have been shown to diminish wrinkles, improve skin elasticity, and boost skin firmness. Hyaluronic acid helps alleviate dry skin which in turn reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

STUDIOMAKEUP is introducing three new products with the powerhouse ingredient hyaluronic acid. There are just 3 steps to hydrated, youthful skin.

StudioMakeup serum

Step 1: Hyaluronic Acid Rejuvenating Serum $45. Perfect for all ages, this serum works to quickly reverse the effects of dehydration and loss of elasticity. The serum brings a refreshing boost to your daily beauty routine that will leave skin feeling supple to the touch.

The nourishment of Highly Concentrated Hyaluronic Acid keeps skin highly moisturized throughout the day leaving skin radiant and youthful. I love how quickly and thoroughly it absorbs into the skin and doesn’t pill under moisturizer.

StudioMakeup Primer

Step 2: Silk Hydration Face Primer $30. This silicone-free, silky primer is infused with the moisture benefits of Hyaluronic Acid. It’s super lightweight and makes a perfect base for makeup. More importantly, it blurs blemishes, pores, and imperfections. I have to admit, I prefer a silicone primer to fill in the large pores in my t-zone, however, if you are allergic or don’t like silicones, the Silk Hydration Primer may be right for you!

Step 3: Flawless Skin Foundation $30. This luminous, skin-loving formula effortlessly provides continuous coverage while keeping your complexion youthful and skin moisture at optimal levels. Light to medium buildable coverage with reflection pigments gives you a lit-from-within glow. Hyaluronic acid traps moisture and locks it in so your plump, radiant skin gets better and better.

There are 10 shades available, most in the light range. I can wear Oak Light and Oak Medium. The two lightest shades are suitable for very pale skin. My partner Marcia has porcelain skin and I think she could wear Oat easily. I usually prefer a full coverage foundation, but this is buildable without getting cakey and that’s a plus. It’s super, super lightweight even with the primer underneath I don’t feel like I’m wearing anything on my skin. Score! I apply with a sponge and it lasts all day.

Studio Makeup Flawless Skin Foundation

Bottom Line: Though the primer isn’t for my skin, I’m quite impressed with STUDIOMAKEUP’S Flawless Skin Foundation and the serum. The products are highly effective and priced well too!
